Malachi Martin

Malachi Brendan Martin (July 23, 1921–July 27, 1999) was an Irish Catholic priest, Vatican insider, and bestselling author known for works like Hostage to the Devil and The Windswept House that critiqued the Vatican and explored Satanism[2][4][8]. He served as Professor of Palaeography at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute and secretary to Cardinal Augustin Bea before leaving the Jesuits in 1964 to move to New York City[2][3].
