Maine Genealogical Society (1884- )

The Maine Genealogical Society (MGS) is a non-profit charitable and educational organization founded in 1976. It collects, exchanges, preserves, and publishes genealogical records, related documents, and information. The society promotes and encourages interest and scholarship in genealogy and family history of the State of Maine.[1][2][5]
