Mahmood Mamdani

Mahmood Mamdani is a Ugandan academic, author, and political commentator known for his influential work on African history, colonialism, post-colonial politics, and the politics of knowledge production. He is the Herbert Lehman Professor of Government at Columbia University and has written major works including "Politics and Class Formation in Uganda" and "Citizen and Subject."
