Mahendra K Verma

Mahendra Kumar Verma is an Indian physicist and professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, specializing in fluid dynamics, turbulence, and nonlinear dynamics. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from IIT Madras in 1988 and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Maryland in 1994, joining IIT Kanpur in 1994. He holds the Sanjay Mittal Chair, has received awards like the Swarnajayanti Fellowship and INSA Teachers Award, and has authored several books on his research areas.[2][3]
