Magnus M. Halldorsson

Magnús M. Halldórsson is a Professor of Computer Science at Reykjavik University in Iceland, specializing in the design and analysis of algorithms, particularly approximation algorithms for combinatorial NP-hard problems and distributed algorithms for graph coloring. He previously held professorships at the University of Iceland and Rutgers University, and is a founding member of The Icelandic Centre of Excellence in Theoretical Computer Science. His research also includes wireless algorithmics, combining rigorous algorithm analysis with realistic models of interference.
