Maggie Anderson

Maggie Anderson (born September 23, 1948) is an American poet, editor, and educator with roots in Appalachia, born in New York City to a mother from Pennsylvania and a father from West Virginia.[2][9] She is a professor emerita at Kent State University, founding director of the Wick Poetry Center, and editor of the Wick Poetry series, authoring collections such as Windfall: New and Selected Poems (2000) and Dear All (2017).[5][7] Her work has earned fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and state arts councils.[3]
