Madeline Hunter

Madeline Hunter was a New York Times bestselling author of more than thirty historical romances, a two-time RITA winner, and recipient of the Waldenbooks Bestselling Debut Author award in 2000 for her first romance published that June. She held a Ph.D. in Art History and taught at the college level for many years, living in western Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh with her family. Historical romance author Madeline Hunter passed away earlier in 2025 from cancer, as announced by her publisher Kensington.[3]
