M. Golay
Marcel J. E. Golay was a Swiss-American mathematician, physicist, and information theorist known for his contributions to signal processing and coding theory, including the development of Golay codes and the Golay cell. He worked at the U.S. Army Signal Corps and later at the Perkin-Elmer Corporation, publishing numerous technical papers. His work has had a lasting impact on telecommunications and infrared detection.
