M. Foster Olive

M. Foster Olive is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University who heads the Addiction Neuroscience Laboratory, studying how abused drugs affect the brain on a neurobiological level[1][3]. He earned his BA from the University of California-San Diego in 1991 and his PhD in neuroscience from the University of California-Los Angeles in 1997[2][3]. His research has been published in prominent journals including Nature Neuroscience and Journal of Neuroscience, and is supported by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism and the National Institute on Drug Abuse[3].
