Lysa TerKeurst is an American speaker, author of Christian non-fiction, and president of Proverbs 31 Ministries, with over 20 New York Times bestselling books including Uninvited and Forgiving What You Can't Forget, having sold more than six million copies.[1][3][6] Born on July 21, 1969, she founded the ministry with others after her first book in 2000 and has faced personal challenges including a divorce announced in 2022.[1][4] She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is recognized as a leading voice in the Christian community.[7][2]
