Lynne R. Dorfman

Lynne R. Dorfman is an educational consultant and former teacher with over 38 years of experience in Upper Moreland Township School District, where she served as a classroom teacher, gifted education teacher K-5, writing and literacy coach, reading specialist, and staff developer.[1][2] She has co-authored numerous books on teaching writing through children's literature, including Mentor Texts: Teaching Writing Through Children's Literature, K-6 and Nonfiction Mentor Texts.[2][3][4] Currently, she works as an independent literacy consultant and adjunct professor at Arcadia University.[2]
