Lynne Alexander

Lynne Alexander is a British-American author and accomplished harpsichordist who turned to writing in 1980. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she has lived in the U.K. since 1970 and is known for novels such as Safe Houses (1985) and The Sister (2012). She served as Writer in Residence at hospices from 1990-95 and currently teaches Novel Writing at Sheffield Hallam University.
