Lydia Wilkins
Lydia Wilkins is an award-winning freelance journalist and author based in the UK, specializing in disability and social issues, with her work featured in publications such as The Independent, The Metro, The Daily Mail, and Refinery 29. Diagnosed with autism at age 15 and also living with dyspraxia and long Covid, she authored the debut book The Autism-Friendly Cookbook, published in November 2022, which includes 100 recipes with contributions from autistic individuals. She edits Disability Review Magazine, runs the Substack newsletter The Disabled Feminist, and serves as an ambassador for AccessAble.
