Lulu Roman

Bertha Louise 'Lulu' Roman (née Hable) was an American comedian, singer, songwriter, and author best known as a regular cast member on the comedy-music show Hee Haw from 1969 to 1993. Born in Dallas, Texas, she was raised in an orphanage, overcame drug addiction in the 1970s, and found renewed purpose through faith and gospel music, publishing her autobiography This Is My Story; This Is My Song in 2019. She also appeared on shows like The Love Boat and Touched by an Angel, and authored a cookbook titled Kitchen Komforts.
