Luanne Armstrong

Luanne Armstrong is a Canadian author, poet, and farmer born on June 15, 1949, in Creston, British Columbia, where she raised four children on an organic farm in the Kootenay region.[1][2] She writes in multiple genres including award-winning children's books, young adult novels, adult fiction, and poetry, while pursuing advanced degrees and working in women's advocacy and education.[1][2] Armstrong continues to live on her family's century-old farm in rural Boswell near Creston, exploring themes of memoir, feminism, and environmental activism in her work.[2][4]
