Louis L. Bucciarelli
Louis L. Bucciarelli is an emeritus faculty member at MIT's Science and Technology Studies program with expertise in engineering design and the history of technology. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University (1959), an M.Aero.E from Cornell (1960), and a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT (1966). He has authored numerous works on engineering philosophy, design, and the history of engineering science, and has held visiting appointments at prestigious institutions including the University of Sussex, École des Mines Paris, Delft Technical University, and Cambridge.
