Louis E Boone

Louis E. Boone (1941-2005) was an American academic author and educator specializing in business and marketing. He authored or coauthored over two dozen textbooks, including the acclaimed *Contemporary Marketing*, named the outstanding college textbook since 1950 by the Academic Authors Association. He served as a professor and department chair at universities including the University of South Alabama, where he was professor emeritus.
