Louis Blom-Cooper

Louis Blom-Cooper was a distinguished lawyer and human rights champion who played a key role in the development of administrative law in Britain during the late 20th century.[3] He was involved in the foundation of Amnesty International and was known for his fervent opposition to the death penalty and advocacy for prison reform.[1][2] Blom-Cooper served as the first Independent Commissioner for the Holding Centres in Northern Ireland and was chairman of the Press Council.[5]
