Louis 1807-1873 Agassiz

Louis Agassiz was a Swiss-born American naturalist, geologist, and educator known for his influential work on glaciers, fossil fishes, and the theory of ice ages. He became one of the most prominent scientists in 19th-century America and helped shape science education at Harvard University. [3][10]
