Lois McMaster Bujold

Lois McMaster Bujold is an acclaimed American author of science fiction and fantasy, best known for her Vorkosigan Saga featuring the resourceful Miles Vorkosigan. Born in 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, to an engineering professor, she began writing professionally in the 1980s, with her first three novels selling to Baen Books in 1985. She has won four Hugo Awards, three Nebula Awards, and the 2020 Damon Knight Grand Master Award, with her works translated into over twenty languages.
