Susan Tatum Woodhouse, known by her pen name Liz Carlyle, is an American author of historical romance novels who began publishing in 1999.[1][2] She majored in journalism on a writing scholarship but worked in human resources and labor relations before starting her writing career in 1996.[2] Her novels are loosely connected through related or acquainted characters and have earned nominations for various romance awards.[2]
