Lisa Moore Ramée

Lisa Moore Ramée was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and now lives in Northern California with her family and pets. She holds a BA in Speech Communications from San Francisco State University and an MA in English Literature from Cal State East Bay, and previously worked in publishing at the Walt Disney Company. Her debut middle-grade novel, *A Good Kind of Trouble* (2019), received critical acclaim including three starred reviews and a Walter Dean Myers Honor; subsequent books include *Something to Say* (2020), *Mapmaker* (2022), and *The Everybody Experiment* (2024).
