Lisa Heschong

Lisa Heschong is a retired architect, founding principal of the Heschong Mahone Group, and award-winning author known for her groundbreaking research on daylighting, visual and thermal delight in architecture, and human factors in building design. She received the 2023 IES Medal for meritorious technical achievement and has published the book 'Visual Delight in Architecture: Daylight, Vision and View' through Routledge. Heschong holds a Master's in Architecture from MIT and currently resides in Santa Cruz, California.
