Linkin Park

Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Agoura Hills, California, initially as Xero by high school friends Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon, later evolving through Hybrid Theory before adopting their current name in 2000. They achieved global fame with their debut album *Hybrid Theory* in 2000, blending nu metal, hip hop, and rock, and released seven studio albums with the original lineup including Chester Bennington until his death in 2017, followed by a hiatus and reformation in 2024 with new members Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain.
