Linda Marshall

Linda Elovitz Marshall is an award-winning author of nearly two dozen picture books, many inspired by her life on a Hudson River Valley farm where she raised four children and sheep.[1][3] She grew up near Boston, studied anthropology at Barnard College/Columbia University, and began her writing career around age 60 after working as a sheep farmer, anthropologist, bookstore owner, and teacher.[1][2] Her picture book biographies include works about Dr. Jonas Salk, Marie Curie, and Volodymyr Zelensky.[5][7]
