Lily King

Lily King is an award-winning American novelist born in 1963, known for works such as Euphoria (2014), which won the Kirkus Award and was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, and Writers & Lovers (2020), a New York Times Notable Book. She grew up in Massachusetts, earned a BA in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University, and published her debut novel The Pleasing Hour in 1999 after various teaching and writing experiences abroad and in the US. She lives in Portland, Maine, with her husband and two daughters.
