Lillie D. Shockney

Lillie D. Shockney is a University Distinguished Service Professor of Breast Cancer and Professor of Surgery and Oncology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, known for her work as a nurse navigator and medical advisor for breast cancer patients[2]. She is a two-time breast cancer survivor who has published at least 20 books and over 350 articles on cancer care, patient navigation, and survivorship[2][3]. Shockney co-founded several nonprofit organizations including Mothers Supporting Daughters with Breast Cancer and the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators[2].
