Libby Purves

Elizabeth Mary Purves, OBE (born 2 February 1950), is a British radio presenter, journalist, author, and columnist for The Times. She presented BBC Radio 4's Today programme and Midweek for 34 years, and has written twelve novels, books on childcare and sailing, and a memoir of her religious upbringing. Educated at St Anne's College, Oxford, she comes from a diplomatic family and has produced numerous documentaries.
