Lew Duddridge
Lew Duddridge (1918-2023) was a Canadian author who grew up during the drought-stricken 1930s in rural Saskatchewan and drew from his life's experiences in his writing. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1950, logging 10,000 flying hours over sixty-five years until retirement, and co-authored works like 'The Flying Duddridges of Hanley' with his brother Len. A proponent of positive thinking, he penned memoirs such as 'The Best 70 Years of My Life: It's All Downhill from Here' before passing at age 104 in Victoria, BC.
