Levison Wood
Levison Wood is an English explorer, writer, photographer, and documentary-maker renowned for his long-form walking expeditions, such as Walking the Nile, and for highlighting environmental issues, Indigenous communities, and human stories from remote regions. A former Major in the British Army's Parachute Regiment, he has authored eleven bestselling books, produced acclaimed documentaries, and serves as Chancellor of Staffordshire University and ambassador for UNICEF and WWF. Born in Staffordshire to teacher parents, he studied at the University of Nottingham and Sandhurst, and has travelled extensively in over 100 countries.[1][2][4]
