Lesley Sims; Fred Blunt

Lesley Sims dreamed of being a writer but studied law at her mother's insistence before joining Usborne Publishing, where she has written numerous children's phonics readers. Fred Blunt, a children's book illustrator, knew from a young age that he wanted to draw silly pictures for a living and has illustrated books including collaborations with Sims such as 'Bee Makes Tea' and 'Crow in the Snow'. Together, they create engaging phonics stories for young readers.[2][3][4]
