Leon Friedman is a legal scholar and author, best known as the Joseph Kushner Distinguished Professor of Civil Liberties Law at Hofstra University. He has written on the U.S. Supreme Court, civil liberties, abortion, and related constitutional law topics, and also practices law in civil rights, First Amendment, and intellectual property matters.
