LEA GREEN
Leah Naomi Green is an American poet and creative non-fiction essayist, author of The More Extravagant Feast (2020), winner of the Walt Whitman Award selected by Li-Young Lee. She grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, earned a BA in Environmental Studies from Earlham College in 2005 and an MFA in Poetry Writing from the University of California, Irvine in 2009. She teaches English and Environmental Studies at Washington and Lee University as Writer-in-Residence and lives in the Shenandoah Mountains where she homesteads with her family.
