Lawrence E. Stevens

Lawrence E. Stevens, PhD, born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1951, moved to Arizona in 1970 and graduated cum laude from Prescott College with double majors in science and art. He served as Park Ecologist for Grand Canyon National Park and currently works as Curator of Ecology and Conservation at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, while also acting as Senior Ecologist for Grand Canyon Wildlands Council. An evolutionary ecologist, he is a leading authority on the biology of the Grand Canyon region, focusing on assemblage responses to landscape development and environmental change.
