Lawrence Beesley

Lawrence Beesley (1877–1967) was an English science teacher, journalist, and author best known as a survivor of the RMS Titanic sinking in 1912.[1][4] He published the successful book *The Loss of the SS Titanic* just nine weeks after the disaster, providing a detailed second-class passenger's account.[1][2] He later appeared on the set of the 1958 film *A Night to Remember* and reunited with other survivors.[2][5]
