Lauraine Snelling
Lauraine Snelling is an award-winning American author of Christian fiction, historical novels, and books for young readers, best known for her series on Norwegian immigrants inspired by her heritage, with over 80 books published since her debut Tragedy on the Toutle in 1982 and more than 5 million copies sold[1][2][3]. She was inducted into the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame in 2012 and teaches at writers' conferences while living in Tehachapi, California[1][3][4].
