Laura Numeroff
Laura Joffe Numeroff is a New York Times best-selling children's book author best known for the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" series, which has sold over 4.5 million copies and been translated into fourteen languages. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she attended Pratt Institute and graduated with a degree in communications, publishing her first children's book, "Amy for Short," in 1975. Throughout her prolific career, she has authored over 48 books characterized by relatable topics, rhythmic tones, and animal characters.
