Larry Mellichamp

Larry Mellichamp was a botanist, educator, and long-time professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he served in the Biology Department since 1976 and directed the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens. He was also a founding partner in HARP and served as Senior Botanist, and he was widely recognized for his work with native plants and carnivorous plants.
