Larry Correia is a New York Times bestselling American author born on August 20, 1975, in El Nido, California, known for his urban fantasy Monster Hunter International series, the Grimnoir Chronicles alternate history trilogy, and other works featuring monsters, magic, and detailed firearms usage.[1][2][5][7] He self-published his debut novel Monster Hunter International in 2008, which led to a contract with Baen Books and widespread success, and he has since written over 25 novels, numerous short stories, and edited anthologies.[1][2][6] A former accountant, gun dealer, and firearms instructor, he lives in Utah with his family.[1][2][3][4]
