Kurt Binder

Kurt Binder was a renowned Austrian theoretical physicist specializing in the statistical physics of condensed matter, with significant contributions to the study of glasses, polymers, and phase transitions. He was a professor at the University of Mainz from 1983 until his emeritation in 2012 and received numerous awards including the Max-Planck Medal and the Boltzmann Medal.
