Kirk D. Werner

Kirk D. Werner is an author and illustrator best known for his series of children's fly fishing books featuring Olive, the woolly bugger. Born in Seattle, Washington, he spent his formative years in the suburbs outside the city and graduated in 1985 from Washington State University with a BA in Communications and a minor in Fine Art. He resides in Duvall, Washington, with his wife, two kids, and a dog.[1][3][5]
