Kim Stanley Robinson

Kim Stanley Robinson (born March 23, 1952) is an American science fiction writer best known for his Mars trilogy and other ecologically and politically themed novels featuring scientists as heroes.[1][2] He began publishing novels in 1984 with The Wild Shore, part of the Three Californias trilogy, and has won multiple awards including the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Awards.[1][3][4] His work is described as humanist and literary science fiction.[3][5]
