Kenneth Chalker

Dr. Kenneth W. Chalker is a retired United Methodist pastor who grew up in Alliance, Ohio, on his grandfather's dairy farm and earned a Master's from Duke University and a Doctor of Ministry from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1982. He revitalized inner-city churches, including First United Methodist Church in Cleveland starting in 1986 using endowment funds for outreach, and served as pastor of University Circle United Methodist Church until his retirement on January 28, 2018. Known for his belief in church resurrection and love of people, he has been involved in ministry and public speaking.
