Ken Karst
Kenneth Leslie Karst was a prominent constitutional law scholar, UCLA Law professor for 40 years, and influential author whose work focused on equality, autonomy, and freedom of expression in U.S. constitutional law. He earned his bachelor's from UCLA in 1950 and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1953, later joining UCLA in 1965 after teaching at Ohio State. His notable books include 'Belonging to America: Equal Citizenship and the Constitution,' which won the James A. Rawley Prize, and he was cited 12 times by the U.S. Supreme Court.
