Kelly Savage

Kelly Savage was a New Zealand-American Assistant Language Teacher living in Japan whose death in 2017 sparked an international outcry and a national debate in Japan regarding psychiatric practices and long-term physical restraints. She was born on December 27, 1989, and passed away on May 17, 2017, at the age of 27.
