Keith Gilyard

Keith Gilyard is an American writer, poet, scholar, and professor of English and African American Studies, born in New York City in 1952. His work focuses on rhetoric, composition, literacy studies, sociolinguistics, and African American literature, and he has authored, edited, or co-edited more than thirty books.
