Lauren Keyana 'Keke' Palmer, born August 26, 1993, in Harvey, Illinois, is an American actress, singer, television host, and author who began her career as a child star with roles in films like Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004) and her breakout in Akeelah and the Bee (2006).[1][2][3] She has since starred in projects such as Hustlers (2019), hosted shows like Password, and authored memoirs including I Don’t Belong to You (2017) and Master of Me (2024), earning two Primetime Emmy Awards and recognition as one of Time's most influential people in 2019.[1][3]
