Kay Thompson

Kay Thompson (1909–1998) was an American entertainer, author, singer, vocal arranger, and choreographer who became famous for creating the Eloise children's book series and for her role in the 1957 film Funny Face. Throughout her career, she worked as a vocal coach and mentor to major entertainers including Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and Lena Horne, and was a significant contributor to MGM musicals in the 1940s.
