Kautsky
Karl Johann Kautsky (16 October 1854 – 17 October 1938) was an Austrian-born Marxist theorist and a leading figure of orthodox Marxism after the death of Friedrich Engels. He served as the chief theorist of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Second International, known for popularizing and systematizing Marx's complex theories for mass political parties through his editorship of *Die Neue Zeit* and his work on the Erfurt Program.
