Katy Börner

Katy Börner is the Victor H. Yngve Distinguished Professor of Engineering and Information Science at Indiana University, Bloomington, where she also serves as founding director of the Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center and curator of the international Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit.[1][2] Her research focuses on data analysis, visualization techniques, scientific collaboration, and the structure of scientific disciplines.[3] She earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology in Leipzig in 1991 and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kaiserslautern in 1997.[1][2]
